Research Interest
Clinical studies of acute intervention in ischemic stroke; hemostasis problems associated with cerebral injury; and vascular and matrix adhesion biology. Research in thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura and platelet functions under fluid shear stress. - Platelet Immunology and Genomics Laboratory and Research in heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, von Willebrand disease, pregnancy-related hemostasis, and clinical trials of treatments for hemophilia. Research in hematopoietic stem cells, erythropoiesis, heme physiology, marrow failure, myelodysplasia (MDS). Research in transfusion safety improvement processes and decision analysis. Clinical research in acute lymphoblastic leukemia and aggressive lymphoma. Research on acute myeloid leukemia, AML, immunotherapy of AML, leukemia stem cells, predictive modeling.
